The Consortium: part 1 of the trilogy
We meet Kees-Jan, Milan and Bertrand: three famous writers with a different, willful worldview (note: Milan looks like Michel Houellebecq, Bertrand like Bernard-Henry Levy and Kees-jan like Kluun, a rather popular Dutch writer). They decide to work together on an ambitious project: bring about a cultural change in order to introduce a, in the eyes of mainly Bertrand necessary, renewed form of enlightenment. The guys meet some young women during their introduction and launch of the project, situated in the heart of Paris. What they do not realize yet is that these women work for a powerful consortium, a group that holds the world in his grasp and is doing everything to prevent this planned change. The consortium has formed a working group under the code name ‘History’ with which they are trying to disrupt the project. Their intervention is threatening the Three Musketeers, or should we say Don Quichote’s, in achieving their goal.
